TECNOCENTRO ENG s.r.l. , is an engineering company, mainly operates in “turn key” supplies of plants and process components for the metallurgical sector and for the energy production or recovery.
Tecnocentro was born in 1980 as a mechanical and plant design company, operating for third-parties, but very soon it began to develop one’s own know-how and innovative technologies in metallurgical, chemical and energy sectors, and later to work as an EPC Contractor.

The company’s growth evolved according three strategic guidelines:

1. to turn into a “turn key” industrial plant supplier, keeping inside and expanding
the design capability, in order to propose itself like a “problem solver”.
2. Strengthen its presence in markets of interest, with start off of new industrial initiatives
and consolidating cooperation with institutional territorial subjects and with multinational
industrial groups.
3. Consolidate the reference economic system participating to the creation of new industrial initiatives, attentively focusing on increase of business opportunities and professional growth of its collaborators.

In order to comply with the company structure to participation to new activities
and setting up of new industrial initiatives, in January 2000 Tecnocentro s.r.l. turns into Tecnofin S.p.A., while the branch of industrial engineering activities is demerged and route out to Tecnocentro engineering company.

Tecnocentro eng has developed autonomous know-how in the following industrial fields:
- industrial furnaces for heat treatment
- melting furnaces for light alloys and superalloys
- cleaning sections and pickling sections for metal strip (stainless steel, copper,
aluminium etc.)
- continuous coating lines for metal strip
- handling and packing systems

In the last years Tecnocentro eng. has cooperated with Tecnofin in developing and applying the biomass and waste pyrolysis/gasifying process to the energy production plant.
This led to design, construction and operation of a pyrolysis demonstrative plant and of an electric power production plant, operated since 2001 by Printer S.r.l. in Terni – a Tecnofin company, with an installed power of 4 MWe with combined steam/pyrogas thermal cycle.

Tecnocentro eng. is a ISO 9001:2000 company, certified by Bureau Veritas
for the following items:
“Design, construction and installation of wastes disposal and recovery” and “Design , construction and installation of electric energy power plants”
